CHOW MEIN (KI-SI-MING)
This is a great quick meal and you can use any vegetables that you have BUT you do need cabbage.
Ingredients:
500g minced steak. Brown in fry pan.
Then add:
1/4 cabbage, shredded
1/2 cup chopped beans
2 carrots, diced
2 sticks celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 or 2 chicken stock cubes
1 teaspoon curry powder
2 tablespoons rice
2 1/2 cups water
Salt and pepper to taste.
Cook 1/2 - 3/4 hour, stirring occasionally.
